Like a Bird on the Wire

- but no freedom of movement, of herding, of access to water if you are not Jewish in the occupied territories

(Doves and other birds photographed while accompanying Palestinian herders with Ta'ayush in the Jordan Valley and South Hebron hills. And one strange mechanical bird...)

Freedom of movement - also in the air - if you are Jewish and especially if you have money.

BLOW UP: My photo of a landing helicopter, taken on June 22, with tele-lens, in the Jordan Valley - revealed - upon further magnification - an old man with a cane and a blond woman stepping out of the white bird. (a second, black helicopter landed a few minutes later).

It has been confirmed this was indeed Sheldon Adelson and his wife Miriam. The visitors were taken by awaiting jeeps and vans to the Kfir army base in the Jordan Valley on the road west of the ridge to participate - as revealed later, in Haaretz - in a ceremony thanking them for their support of the army unit.

(By the way, are private individuals allowed to donate to army units in any other democratic country?)

my photo was published on 7.7.17 in Haaretz, in an article by Shaked Kedme Orbach https://www.haaretz.co.il/magazi…/tozeret/.premium-1.4235045
